DHAKA: President Abdul Hamid will arrive home on Friday night after performing hajj.

A BG-036 flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, carrying the president, is scheduled to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:00pm.

Security has been tightened at the airport on the occasion of president’s arrival, Iftekher Jahan, chief security officer of Civil Aviation Authority Bangladesh, told banglanews.

Hamid along with a 47-member entourage left the country for Saudi Arabia to perform hajj as the guest of the Saudi king.

President’s wife, his two sons and their wives, his personal assistant secretary, government high officials and politicians are accompanying him during the hajj.
