DHAKA: The return hajj-flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday noon after a 2-hour delay on the second successive day.

A 2014 flight of Biman, carrying 419 hajjis from Saudi Arabia, landed at the airport around 2:15pm on the day, while it was scheduled to arrive at 12:00pm.

Earlier flight of Saudi Airlines, carrying hajjis, landed at the airport at 12:30pm. Another flight of Biman was scheduled to arrive there at 5:00pm.

Biman station manger Suvas Chandara Das told banglanews that the fights are being delayed because hajjis were not managing to present at the airport at Saudi Arabia on time.

On Thursday, the first hajj return-flight of Biman arrived at the airport making 4-hour delay.
