SYLHET: Indian Border Security Force (BSF) handed over four Bangladeshis to Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) through a flag meeting at Tamabil frontier Sunday.

The detainees are- Shaheen, 18, son of Shafiq Mia, Alamgir, 17, son of Alif Mia, Monir, 17, son of Sekandar Ali, Rasel, 18, son of Sukkur Ali, 18.

BGB sources said that the detainees crossed the border and BSF detained them on Saturday around 6:30pm.

Confirming the matter BGB-5 Battalion Operations Officer Major Abdur Rahman told banglanews that BSF detained the four youths for crossing border illegally and handed over BGB.

Gowainghat Thana Officer-in-Charge Abdul Hye said that a case will be filed in this connection.
