4 killed in Natore road crash

NATOR: At least four people were killed and three others injured in a road accident at Gurudaspur upazila of the district on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Lokman Ali, 45, Shukkur Ali, 26, Salma Begum, 27 and the identity of the other man could not know immediately, hailed from Baraigram village of the upazila.

Witnesses said a rashly driven truck rushed into an auto-rickshaw on Bonpara-Hatikumrul road in Rathuria area of Baraigram, leaving four passengers dead on the spot.

Bonpara highway police station in-charge Fuad Lohani confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He added that three passersby were also injured in the accident, he added that they were rushed to Natore Sadar Hospital.
