DHAKA: Poet Nirmalendu Goon will undergo an open heart surgery on Monday morning.

Sources said that the physical condition of the Nirmalendu Goon in now deteriorated and doctors suggested an immediate open heart surgery.

O+ blood needed for the Open Heart Surgery of him.

Nirmalendu Goon was admitted at Labaid Hospital due to his heart ailments and later he was sent to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.

He has been diagnosed with a blocked artery.

Earlier on Sunday, he was admitted to Japan-Bangladesh Friendship Hospital from where he was shifted to Labaid Hospital.
