DHAKA: The body of BRAC University Professor Dr Piash Karim, who died at a city hospital early Monday, will be taken to Central Saheed Minar on Wednesday.
He will be kept there from two hours from 11:00am to pay last tribute by all walks of people to him.
Prominent journalist Dr Mahfijullah said it while talking to reporters at Piash Karim’s Dhanmondi residence on Monday.
After paying tribute, his Namaz-e-Janaza will be held at Baitul Mukarram mosque after Johr prayers on the day, Dr Mahfuzzullah added.
Dr Piash Karim breathed his last on way to Square Hospital in the city around 5:30am.
