Bangladeshi killed in BSF firing

SATKHIRA: A Bangladeshi cowboy was shot dead by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) at Gazipur frontier of the district early Thursday.                 

The deceased was identified as Ayub Ali, 35, son of Samsel Ali, hailed from Boikari village under Satkhira Sadar Upazila. 

Family sources of the victim said that Ayub and some other cowboys with cattle were returning back from India. Then BSF opened fire aiming them, leaving him dead on the spot. 

Later, the body has been kept at Boikary Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) camp. 

Satkhira-38 BGB Battalion Operation Officer Major Ahsan Habib confirmed the matter to banglanews.
