DHAKA: A teenaged domestic help was found dead in city’s Uttar Badda area on Sunday evening.

The ill-fated girl was identified as Farida, 15, daughter of Chan Mia, hailed from Netrokona district.

Police sources said Farida had been working in the house of Sirajul Islam for past three years.

Sirajul and his wife Minara Begum said Farida had an affair with an unidentified boy of the area. She might have committed suicide by hanging herself over love affair.

On information, police recovered the body around 6:00pm and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Badda Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Jahangir Alam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
