DHAKA: The Cabinet Committee on Government Purchase on Sunday approved a proposal to buy 300 rail bogies from Indonesia costing Tk 561 crore.
Joint secretary Mostafizur Rahman of cabinet division informed the reporters after the meeting of the committee chaired by finance minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith.
Mostafizur said ten more purchase related proposals also approved in the meeting.
The proposals include the imports of 1 lakh ton urea fertilizer, refined fuel from Brunei and the purchase proposal to select technical advisory company on ‘Chittagong Water Supply and Improvement and Sanitation’ project of Chittagong WASA worth Tk 384 crore.
