DHAKA: Education Secretary Dr Mohammad Sadique has been appointed as a member of Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).

Public administration ministry issued a gazette notification to this effect on Monday.

The President has made the appointment under article 138(1) of the constitution, said the notification.

Dr Sadique, who went on LPR (leave prior retirement) from September 18, has served the nation from several higher ranking posts, including the post of election commission secretary.
