DHAKA: Customs officials held a passenger with six kilogram gold at Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday noon.

The detainee is identified as Raza Baslina Binte Raza Malek, a Malaysian citizen. 

Armed Police Battalion assistant police super Noor-e-Alam Siddique told banglanews that acting on a tip-off the law enforcers detained the woman from Green Channel area.

After searching her, they found the gold.

The customs officials are interrogating the passenger, he added.

However, Customs assistant commissioner Jewela Khanam confirmed the matter to banglanews.
