DHAKA: A fire broke out in a grocery shop at Chawkbazar’s Boro Katra area in city on Wednesday morning. 

The fire was originated around 11:00am in the shop and later spread to an adjacent godown. It came under control after half an hour effort of fire service.

However, on information, three fire fighting units from Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters, rushed to the place and doused the fire, said fire control room duty officer Shahjadi Sultana.
