SAVAR (DHAKA): Four children of a family were burnt in Aminbazar area of Savar as power outage hit country after the national grid tripped on Saturday.

The ill fated children are Sara, Jara, Rakib and Zihad.

Locals said that the children were studying at their room in the area under candle light as there was light hardly in the night.

One of the family members opened the door of their toilet and the fire originated from toxic biogas of the toilet and soon spread, sources added.

The four children received severe burn injuries in the fire incident.

However, they were admitted to the burn unit of Enam Medical College Hospital.
