DHAKA: Noted journalist Chowdhury Mohammad Faruk passed away (Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un) at his residence in United Kingdom on Saturday morning (local time).

He was the president of Bangladesh Editors’ Council.

His family members urged all of his well wishers and relatives to pray for the departed soul.
