DHAKA: Customs Intelligence officials held one person with 6 gold bars weighing 6 kilograms at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday.

The detainee is – Tanzilur Rahman.

Confirming the matter, Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate assistant commissioner Abu Yusuf told banglanews that Tanzilur landed on the airport by the BG Flight-056 from Italy.

Customs officials searched his body when the man was crossing the airport green channel and seized six gold bars from his possession, Yusuf added.

A case was filed with Airport Thana in this connection.
