JESSORE: Two people, including a policeman, were injured after miscreants attacked bombs targeting police vehicle in front of a mosque in Kholadanga area under Sadar upazila of the district on Thursday evening.

Jessore Kotwali Thana Office-in-Charge Enamul Haque told banglanews that police went on special drive in the area riding a vehicle at 7:30pm. At that time, miscreants hurled several bombs targeting the vehicles, leaving two people, including a policeman, injured.

The inured cop, constable Mamun, was undergoing treatment at Jessore Medical College and Hospital.

Following the incident, police raided in the area but none was detained in this connection.
