DHAKA: The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel were deployed in Dhaka on Thursday evening to maintain law and order and ensure peace.

Several platoons of BGB troops have been deployed in other places across the country as well.

Public Relations Officer (PRO) of BGB Headquarters Mohsin Reza confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Mohsin Reza said that BGB members started patrolling at different strategic points of the city alongside members of other law enforcement agencies to keep the law and order situation under control.
