DHAKA: The former high commissioners of Bangladesh and India claimed that the main problem of the bilateral relation between the two countries is that many agreements had signed, but those were never implemented.
The ex-high commissioners made the remarks while addressing the ‘1st India-Bangladesh High Commissioners’ Summit’ on Friday afternoon.
Department of International Relations, University of Dhaka, organized two-day long summit in collaboration with India-Bangladesh Foundation at Senate Hall of the university.
Former Bangladesh high commissioners to India Humayun Kabir, Tariq Karim, Mostafa Faruque Mohammed, former Indian high commissioner to Bangladesh Deb Mukherjee and Bina Sikri, among others, were present.
