Arrest Biman chairman among 42: Firoz

DHAKA: Jatiya Party presidium member lawmaker Kazi Firoz Rashid on Thursday demanded the arrest of 42 people, including Biman Bangladesh Airlines Air Marshal (retd) Jamal Uddin Ahmed, on charges of gold smuggling.

Firoz came up with the plea while addressing the parliament on the point of order.

He said that a syndicate of 42 people is involved in gold smuggling. Of them, six were arrested.
