DHAKA: Police have recovered a bomb-like object from near the Kalabagan Thana in city Thursday night.

Sources told banglanews that the object, looks like a time bomb, was found around 9:30pm in a Hamid Garment’s lane, adjacent to the police station.

Police, however, after being informed, have recovered the object, sources added.

Confirming the matter, Kalabagan Thana sub-inspector (SI) Mohammad Bakhtiar said that later on information, a bomb squad of the Detective Branch (DB) of police came and took away the object.

"It'll be clear only after test whether it's a bomb or not," he added.
