DHAKA: The investors of Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort welcomed and encouraged everyone to work cooperatively for the wellbeing of the organization.

A press meet held on November 18, 2014 at the Atrium Auditorium of East London where the NRB investors requested all to keep on their active support and patronize in the same way as in the past.

The board also appealed to all the patrons, customers, corporate clients and media people to have confidence with them and not to be swayed by lies and fabricated false statements.

Muhib Chowdhuri, one of the prominent investors of Dhaka Regency proclaimed a statement to the press and later on detail question answering session to the journalists was replied by Barrister Nazrul Khashru, Barrister Mujibul Haq and Muhid Ali Mithu. The Press Meet was arranged on the occasion of the recent chaos and rumors made about the Board and the hotel in order to damage hotel’s reputation, in the hospitality sector and also among the clients.

It was stated in the press meet that Dhaka Regency was established by some NRBs residing in UK who tirelessly worked for building the hotel which adds to the social and tourism development of the country. Moreover, it is now recognized as a leading international standard hotel of the country.

Unfortunately, a group of haughty investors of the company demanded illegal ownership and raised false allegations against the hotel and the Board of Directors during the last few years as to create horror and destroy the image and reputation of the organizations.

Also the NRB investors of the organization confirmed that there is no ownership conflict among the board as well as the investors rather they are all unified to protect the organization from any of the movements that can drop down the images and reputation of the most successful venture of NRBs.  Finally a PowerPoint presentation was presented with current business outcome, activities & achievement and future way forward by Shahid Hamid FIH, executive director of Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort which was much appreciated by the investors and invited guests.
