KATHMANDU (NEPAL): Both the government and the opposition Nepal have agreed to make the 18th SAARC Summit successful.
In this regard, both the party is considering the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit, to be held on November 26-27, as a national festival of the country.
Sources told banglanews that the decision has come out on Saturday after a meeting between the Nepal prime minister, and also the Nepali Congress (NC) party president Sushil Koirala and the opposition United Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
The meeting was held at Nepal’s PM official residence at Baluwatar in Kathmandu, sources added.
The two giantzparty chiefs, according to the sources, also want to show the rest of the world that the success of the SAARC Summit in Nepal is the tale of the country’s political gain.
Though the rally of prime ministers’ will be started from November 26, but, the activities of the SAARC Summit have already been begun from Sunday.
