COMILLA: Rail communications of Chittagong with Dhaka and Sylhet restored on Wednesday night following a four-hour halt as a goods-laden train derailed at Daulatpur of the district.
Mostafijur Rahman, assistant engineer of Comilla Railway, told banglanews that the rail services were restored around 10:00pm after a salvage train cleared the line with a three-hour effort.
Earlier, a wagon of a Dhaka-bound goods-laden train veered off the tracks at Daulatpur area of Comilla around 6:10pm.
