Youth held with firearms in Tongi

GAZIPUR: Detective Branch (DB) of Police has detained here a youth with foreign pistol and one round bullet from Tongi on Wednesday evening.

The detainee is Sayeed Badshah, 35, son of Bikku Miah, hailed from Bogra’s Sariakandi.

The officer-in-charge (OC) of district DB, Amir Hossain said acting on a tip off, police detained Badshah from Tongi College Gate area.
