ACC summons Prince Moosa

DHAKA: The Anti-Corruption Commission has summoned businessman Moosa Bin Shamser alias Prince Moosa for quizzing him on allegation of acquiring illegal wealth and money laundering.

A letter signed by ACC deputy director Meer M Joynul Abedin Shibli was sent to Moosa asking him to appear before ACC headquarters on December 18, said related source.

Earlier ACC took decision to quiz Moosa after a news report of Business Asia which said Moosa has 7 billion USD in Swiss Bank.

Prince Moosa came to limelight when he offered five billion pound to British PM Tony Blair for his election campaign.

He was born in Faridpur on October 15, 1950. However international media report he made fortune through arms deal.
