GAZIPUR: Six people were injured when a human hauler was hit by a train at Buriabo rail crossing area under Kaliakair upazila on Friday.

Assistant Station Master of Joydebpur Railway Station Nasir Uddin said that Rajshahi-bound train Padma Express hit the human hauler when it got stuck on the railway track around 10:10am, leaving six passengers of the human hauler injured critically.

The injured were rushed to Kaliakair Upazila Sadar Hospital.

However, the train service remained normal through the area after this accident.

Kaliakoir Thana Officer-in-Charge Omar Faruk confirmed the matter to banglanews.
