DHAKA: A primary school Headmaster was killed and another one injured in a road accident in Banglabazar area under Fatikchhari upazila of the district on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Jasim Uddin, 50, Headmaster of Muhammadpur Government Primary School.

Witnesses said his motorbike collided with another motorbike coming from opposite direction in the area around 11:00am while he was going to his workplace, leaving him dead on the spot.

Another teacher was injured in the incident.

Dantmara Police outpost in-charge Mir Kashem confirmed the matter to banglanews.
