DHAKA: Two minor boys were killed when a wall of an abandoned building collapsed at Kodalia village under Nagarkanda upazila of the district on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Ramjan, 8, son of Shawkat Matubbar and Johan, 7, son of Zahid Matubbar of the village.

Both were the students of class-I at Kodalia Government Primary School.

Witnesses said they were playing next to the abandoned building of Kodaila Matsa Samabay Samiti. All on a sudden, wall of the building collapsed, leaving them critically injured.

They were rushed to Nagarkanda Upazila Health Complex where on-duty doctor declared them dead.

Nagarkanda Thana Officer-in-Charge Afsar Uddin confirmed the matter to banglanews.

An unnatural death case was filed in this connection, told the OC.
