Case against Gaffar Chy dismissed

BOGRA: A district Court dismissed the case filed against eminent journalist and columnist Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury for terming Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) senior vice-chairman Tarique Rahman a ‘living mad’.

District Senior Judicial Magistrate Ferdous Wahid Shanto passed the order on Thursday afternoon.

Earlier in the morning, Bogra District Chhatra Dal leader AKM Zahid Moni filed the case.
