DHAKA: A gang of dope party locally known as ‘Agyan Party’ snatched Taka 20 thousands from a police official in city’s Mohakhali bus terminal area on Thursday afternoon.

The victim is identified as Pradip Kumar Roy, 40, Sub-Inspector of Narsingdi Sadar Thana.

Pradip’s neighbor Sathia Begum said that he came to Dhaka to meet his ailing father.

The muggers doped Pradip and snatched money when he reached the terminal.

Finding him unconscious, the bus staff informed his father.

However, SI Pradip was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital immediately for treatment.
