TANGAIL: Three members of a family were killed in a road accident in Porabari intersection area under Gopalpur upazila of the district on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Sumon, 30, his sister Asma, 35 and Asma’s daughter Maria, 6.
Police sources said a rashly driven truck crushed into their motorbike in the area around 4:45pm, leaving them dead on the spot.
Gopalpur Thana Officer-in-Charge Mokhlesur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
