DHAKA: Six crude cocktails were recovered from the Arts Faculty Building of Dhaka University on Tuesday afternoon.

However, the convocation is being held at the campus in presence of President of the country and also Chancellor of the university M Abdul Hamid.

Students found the cocktails in an abandoned condition and informed police.

On information, a bomb disposal squad of Detective Branch (DB) of Police rushed on the campus and recovered the cocktails and disabled those.

Shahbagh Thana Police sources said that tight security measures were taken to ensure the security of the campus area.

Shahbagh Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Subrata Kumar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
