DHAKA: A Dhaka court on Monday sent Ekushey Television (ETV) Limited chairman Abdus Salam to jail after he gave confessional statement in a sedition case.

The ETV chairman was also shown arrested in a case under pornography control Act filed by a woman named Kaniz Fatema on November 26, 2014.

The case was filed with Cantonment Thana in city after ETV broadcast an episode of ‘Ekusher Chokh’, an investigative program.
