CHITTAGONG: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) early Monday seized 100,000 pieces of yaba tablet worth Tk 4 crore from Shah Porir Dwip area under Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar district.

Moreover, the elite force personnel detained Abdul Amin, 26, son of Nurul Islam, residing in Jaliapara in this connection.

Sources said, acting in a tip-off, RAB personnel conducted a drive at Shah Porir Dwip early Monday and recovered the yaba.

Confirming the matter, RAB Chittagong Zone deputy commander Major AH Mohiuddin said a case was filed with Teknaf Thana.
