DHAKA: Four people were severely injured as a cocktail blasted in a house in Dhakeshwari in city’s Lalbagh area on Wednesday.

The injured were identified as Jhumur, 22, her son Ripon, 6, Happy, 14, and Bappi, 20.

Lalbagh Division deputy police commissioner Mafiz Uddin Ahmed confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said the cocktail blasted while they were making the explosives in the house, leaving the four injured.

Later, on information, a police team conducted a drive in the house.

However, the injured were taken to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
