DINAJPUR: Three people, including driver, sustained burn injuries when miscreants hurled petrol bomb at a goods-laden truck in Bhatgaon Bridge area under Kaharol upazila of the district on Wednesday night.

Identity of the victims could not be known.

Locals said some blockaders hurled petrol bomb at the glass-laden truck in the area on Dinajpur-Panchagarh highway at 10:30pm, leaving three people, including its driver, badly burnt.
   
The injured were whisked off to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital.

On information, a firefighting unit rushed to the spot and doused the blaze, said Prithish Kumar Sarker, officer-in-charge (OC) of Kaharol Police Station.

Drive is underway to nab the bomb attackers, he added.
