BARISHAL: Two people sustained burn injuries as miscreants set fire to a goods-laden truck at Dapdapiya on Barishal-Patuakhali road Friday night.

The victims are truck driver Shafiuddin, 45, and his helper Rubel, 20. They are undergoing treatment at Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College and Hospital.

Source told banglanews that the incident took place in front of Shahid Abdur Rab Serniabat Bridge of that area.

When it reached at the area, according to the locals, blockaders set fire to the truck, leaving its driver and helper burnt.
