36-hr nationwide hartal from Sunday

DHAKA: BNP-led 20-party alliance again called a non-stop 36-hour countrywide hartal from Sunday protesting power price hike, government’s ‘conspiracy of sabotages’ and arrest of their 10 thousands leaders and activists.

The announcement came on Saturday noon through a statement of the BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.

According the statement, the shutdown will begin at 6:00am on Sunday and continue till 6:00pm on Monday.
