MOULVIBAZAR: Two people were killed and another one injured in a road crash on Moulvibazar-Sreemangal road in Niteshwar area of the district on Sunday night.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Police sources said that a passenger bus and a private car collided head on in the around 6:30pm, leaving private car’s driver and a passenger dead on the spot.

On information, police rushed to the spot and the bodies was sent to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Moulvibazar Model Thana Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Abdus Salek confirmed the matter to banglanews.
