DHAKA: Two people were killed and five others injured in a road accident in Ramna area of the capital on Sunday night.

Of the deceased, one was identified as Mosharaf Hossain Biltu, 35.

Police sources said that a passenger bus turned turtle in front of Engineers Institute of Bangladesh in the area around 9:30pm as its driver lost his control over the steering, leaving the duo dead on the spot and five others injured.

However, the injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Ramna Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
