DHAKA: Liberation War affairs minister AKM Mozammel Haque said gayebana janaza of the recent petrol bomb victims will be offered at mosques across the country after juma prayers.
He came up with the disclosure while addressing a human chain in front of National Press Club at 11:15am on Wednesday.
Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote arranged the demonstration against violent politics and killings of people through petrol bomb and arson attacks.
Mozammel Haque said BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia broke down following her son Arafat Rahman Koko’s ‘natural death’. But woes of mothers, who lost their children in ongoing political violence, do not touch her.
He alleged: “BNP-led alliance is observing indefinite blockade as per their plot to make the country failed state.”
Leaders-activists of Awami League and Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote also spoke the program.
