DHAKA: Blockaders blasted several cocktails leaving eight people injured in city’s Gulshan and New Market areas Thursday night.

Two cocktails were blasted by the blockaders around 7:15pm in front of DCC market in Gulshan 1.

No one was reportedly injured in the incident.

Gulshan Thana Officer-in-Charge Rafiqul Islam Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

On the other hand, eight people, including a student of Dhaka University and another of Dhaka College, were injured as the blockade supporters hurled cocktails in New Market area around 6:00pm.

The injured were rushed to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

DMCH police outpost Assistant Sub-Inspector Sentu Chandra confirmed the matter to banglanews.
