LAXMIPUR: Blockade supporters vandalized and torched six vehicles, including truck and auto-rickshaws, on Jaksin-Podder bazaar road of the district sadar on Saturday morning. 

A cement-laden truck came under arson attack by BNP-sponsored nationwide blockade at dawn. Later, five CNG and battery-run auto-rickshaws were also set ablaze and vandalized on the same road. 

None was reportedly detained in this connection as arsonists fled the scene immediately after a quick attack.
