AKHAURA (BRAHMANBARIA): A three-day meeting will be held with the participation of 10 Deputy Commissioners (DC) of Bangladesh and its neighboring Indian province of Tripura on Monday.

Confirming the matter, Akhaura Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ahsan Habib said that four Bangladeshi DCs and six from Tripura will meet in the provincial capital Agartala on the day.

From Bangladesh, the DCs of Brahmanbaria, Habiganj, Moulvibazar and Rangamati districts will held the meeting with the DCs of West Tripura, Unkoti, North Tripura, Khoai, Dholai and Sipahijola districts of neighboring Indian state of Tripura, he added.

The Bangladesh delegation will enter Tripura through Akhaura land port at 11:00am on Monday.

They will discuss about border and business issues.
