Bomb attack at New Market Thana, cop injured

DHAKA: A policeman was injured as miscreants hurled a petrol bomb aiming at New Market Thana in the city on Saturday night.

Thana Duty Officer Asaduzzaman said that the blast took place around 8:15pm.

However, police personnel chased the miscreants immediately but could not detaine anyone as they fled the scene quickly, he added.
