DHAKA: Two journalists of a private television channel, Maasranga Television, were injured as miscreants hurled cocktails at TSC intersection of Dhaka University campus area on Saturday night.

The injured are Staff Reporter of the TV channel Zahed Selim and cameraperson Moazzem.

Moreover, a student of Dhaka University was beaten by angry mob and held by police on allegations of hurling cocktails in the area.

The incident took place around 7:45pm.

Shahbagh Thana Sub-Inspector Mamun Faraji confirmed the matter to banglanews.
