RANGPUR: Two people were killed and five others injured in a road accident in Domdoma area of the district on Sunday morning.

Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Witnesses said a speedy truck collided with a three-wheeler, coming from opposite direction, in the area at 9:10am, leaving two passengers of three-wheelers dead and injured five others.

The injured were admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

Rangpur Sadar Thana officer-in-charge Abdul Kader Jilani confirmed the matter to banglanews.

The condition of all the injured is critical, said hospital sources.
