DHAKA: A group of miscreants blasted the cocktails in secretariat and Bidyut Bhaban and few persons were held for their alleged involvement.

State Minister for home affairs Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal came up with the observation on Sunday noon few hours after three cocktails were blasted in two aforesaid government offices.

Earlier in the day, miscreants blasted one cocktail inside secretariat and two more at the fifth floor of adjacent Bidyut Bhavan simultaneously at around 10:45 am Sunday amid 20-party’s 72-hour non-stop hartal.

Confirming the matter to banglanews, assistant police commissioner Monirul Islam said, a cocktail was threw inside secretariat and it blasted hitting a tree inside the arena.

Meanwhile two cocktails were blasted at the same time at fifth floor of nearby Bidyut Bhaban, he added.
