DHAKA: A Dhaka court Wednesday extended the time to submit probe report on one of the two cases involving the August 21 grenade attack on an Awami League rally.

Metropolitan Sessions Judge (2nd) Fazila Begum issued the order extending the time till November 22 after the state side sought more time to submit the report on the killiing case.

At least 24 people were killed and scores injured in a grenade attack on Awami League rally at Bangabandhu Avenue on August 21, 2004. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was also injured in the attack.

The date of submitting probe report was extended for several times earlier.
