DHAKA: Another victim, who sustained burn injuries as pro-blockaders hurled a petrol bomb at a pick-up van in Laxmipur Sadar upazila on Monday evening, succumbed to injuries at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) early Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Kamal Hossain, 28, a pick-up van driver, son of one Sakhawat Ali, hailed from Banchhanagar village under Sadar upazila.

Victim’s brother Shahjan told banglanews pro-blockaders hurled a petrol bomb aiming the pick-up van that Kamal was driving in front of Laxmipur Police Lines Monday evening, leaving three people including Kamal injured.

Local people rushed them to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital from where Kamal was transferred to DMCH where he succumbed around 4:30am on Tuesday.
